About

Who I am

I'm a Computer Engineering graduate from Simon Fraser University (minor in Mathematics) who builds across the whole stack, from backend APIs and cloud-native systems to graphics-heavy web apps and bare-metal hardware. I'm a generalist by choice: the interesting problems live on both ends.

I've shipped a production e-commerce platform doing real revenue, published two Rust crates on crates.io, and built engines in Rust, WebGPU, and Electron. I like work that has to be fast or correct, ideally both.

I'm an architect, too. Alongside the code I design buildings (plans, structure, detailing) and I'm finishing a B.Tech in Civil Engineering. It's the same puzzle as software: hard constraints, and something that has to hold up.

Experience

Where I've worked

Jul 2024 – Present

Architect & Software Systems Engineer · Inscribe Architects

  • Work the architecture side as well as the engineering one: design development, drawings, and detailing on live projects.
  • Designed and built backend APIs powering architecture-visualization tools, improving system efficiency ~30%.
  • Built interactive web apps in React + Node.js to streamline client presentations and project tracking.
  • Led database architecture and cloud deployment on AWS + MySQL for scalability and data integrity.
2020 – 2024

Assistant Manager · Port Moody Liquor Store

  • Streamlined logistics and inventory; built systems that cut waste and shrinkage.
  • Customer-service strategies that lifted retention ~20%.
2019 – 2020

Manager · EH Furniture

  • Ran customer relations and supervised a team of 9; introduced a sales-tracking system.
2018 – 2019

Team Leader · 7-Eleven

  • Supervised service and F&B handling; improved store throughput with new checkout procedures.
